Responsibilities

• Carry out the tasks specified in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide an estimated time for additional repairs.
• Perform repairs under warranty according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Service Technician.
• Certification as a General Motors Technician.
• ASE Certification.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Positive and friendly attitude with a customer service orientation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Capability to learn new technology, repair, service procedures, and specifications.
• Proficiency in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
