Responsibilities
Carry out the tasks specified on the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
Conduct test drives of vehicles, and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
Diagnose, service, and repair various automotive systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Engage in direct communication with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are aware of any additional services required. Offer an estimated time frame for any further repairs.
Perform warranty repairs according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience as a Mechanic
Preference for candidates with over 2 years of Service Technician experience
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification mandatory
Possess B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
Strong customer service skills and basic computer knowledge
Positive and friendly demeanor with a keenness to progress
Thrives in a dynamic work setting
Collaborative team player
Capable of learning new technologies, repair and service procedures, and specifications
Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
