Auto Dealer Service Advisor Jobs | Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers and technicians to determine necessary maintenance.
• Informs customers of essential and suggested services.
• Presents additional services and repairs to customers.
• Calculates the cost of replacement parts and labor to return the vehicle to the customer’s specified condition.
• Provides estimates for mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
• Inputs an itemized estimate into the service order and clarifies the details to the customer.
• Arranges appointments with customers.
• Achieves dealership standards for repair and order completion.
• Keeps CSI at or above the company’s standards.
• Ensures the work area is orderly, clean, and safe.
• Engages in mandatory training.
• Accurately logs all hours worked in the company’s timekeeping system.
• Adheres to Safeguard rules and regulations.
• Upholds the Company’s Core Values.
• Abides by Company policies and procedures.
• Complies with all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in performing duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
