RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Act as a liaison between technicians and customers.
• Take ownership of the customer’s experience by completing additional tasks that enable the dealership to leave a positive impression.
• Manage the hiring of technicians and service advisors.
• Conduct interviews and oversee new hires.
• Allocate work among technicians.
• Prioritize necessary services.
• Guarantee a positive dealership experience for the customer.
• Offer concierge support for all owner inquiries, via phone or in person, to ensure the customer is well attended to.
• Invest time in building relationships with customers.
• Maintain accurate accounting and financial stability of the service department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in high-volume domestic fixed operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Technical knowledge of automobiles is beneficial but not essential.
• Proven ability to lead and manage others is required.
• An organized and amiable personality is necessary.
• Prior dealership experience is advantageous.
• A general understanding of business operations and accounting is also desired.
