Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen (Cartering & Private Events)

Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen is a culturally rooted, Black-owned coffeehouse and lifestyle brand born in South L.A. in 2018. Founders Yonnie Hagos and Ajay Relan, joined by Issa Rae in 2019, envisioned a creative hub and community café in neighborhoods lacking such spaces. With locations across Inglewood, Eagle Rock, Downtown LA, and LAX Terminal 7, Hilltop has become synonymous with inclusive, design-forward hospitality. Their menu features standouts like Droptops, creative coffee drinks (lavender latte, matcha horchata), savory bowls, and beignets. Leading with a mission of community uplift, local employment, and welcoming atmospheres, Hilltop serves as both a culinary and cultural anchor for LA’s Black creative communities.
