Strong experience designing and implementing automated tests and frameworks for complex applications.
Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (for example, Selenium, Playwright, or similar) and scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or comparable systems.
Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, test strategy, and best practices for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Experience testing distributed or cloud‑native systems and working in Linux environments.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose issues in automation, environments, and application behavior.
Ability to mentor and guide other engineers on automation practices and quality standards.

Job Description

The Quality Engineer 3 role focuses on building and expanding the capabilities of Arctic Wolf’s automation testing platform to ensure the reliability and quality of its cybersecurity solutions. This position designs, implements, and maintains automated tests and frameworks for complex, distributed services, collaborating closely with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage, stability, and performance. Responsibilities typically include developing and executing automated functional and regression tests, contributing to test strategy and tooling, troubleshooting test failures, mentoring other quality engineers on automation best practices, and driving continuous improvements in test infrastructure and processes.
