Experience troubleshooting complex issues on Windows, Linux, and/or Mac operating systems, including use of OS‑level tooling.
Experience with cloud‑hosted or distributed systems and familiarity with observability, logging, and monitoring tools.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
Experience working with version control and DevOps tooling (for example, GitHub, Jenkins or similar).
Ability to own escalated issues end‑to‑end, collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, and communicate complex technical findings clearly.
Nice to have: exposure to security products, network appliances, or network security; experience working in high‑reliability or customer‑facing platforms.

Job Description

The Senior Developer 2 role at Arctic Wolf in Bengaluru is responsible for owning and driving complex, escalated issues from intake through resolution, performing deep technical troubleshooting across software, cloud, and operating system layers (Windows, Linux, and Mac), and delivering durable fixes that improve platform stability and customer experience. This position works closely with product engineering, site reliability, and support teams to analyze code paths, investigate performance and reliability problems, and implement well‑tested solutions while raising the overall quality bar for the Arctic Wolf security operations platform. Typical responsibilities include contributing hands‑on to the full software development lifecycle, writing and reviewing high‑quality code (primarily in Python and Go), enhancing diagnostic and observability tooling, mentoring developers, and driving continuous improvement of development and troubleshooting practices in a highly distributed, security‑focused environment.
