Blockchain Headhunter is helping our client - a pioneering cryptography and zero-knowledge proof R&D powerhouse — hire a Bitcoin Exploration Team Lead to spearhead the company’s strategic exploration into Bitcoin.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone deeply passionate about the future of Bitcoin, who thrives at the intersection of technical innovation and crypto-native research.

🧠 What You’ll Do:

• Lead and scale a new Bitcoin-focused initiative, driving research and development from ideation to implementation.

• Collaborate with internal cryptographers, engineers, and researchers to explore how advanced ZK tech could enhance Bitcoin scalability, security, or programmability.

• Conduct deep technical analysis of Bitcoin and related protocols, identify gaps or opportunities for innovation, and propose experimental design directions.

• Engage with the broader Bitcoin ecosystem and technical communities, contributing insights and initiating collaborations.

• Build and manage a small, elite team of engineers and researchers passionate about Bitcoin.

🧱 What We’re Looking For:

• Proven expertise in Bitcoin protocol and strong knowledge of its consensus, scripting language, scaling debates, and roadmap.

• Experience with cryptography, ZK proofs, or advanced blockchain architecture is a strong plus.

• Prior experience in a research, protocol, or core dev role in a leading Web3 team.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, open-ended R&D environment.

• Strong technical leadership and strategic thinking — you can align blue-sky research with real-world impact.
