Morel Doucet
is a Black—and Haitian-American—ceramicist and multi-disciplinary art educator based in Miami. Through his studio, Doucet Collectables, he creates sculptural ceramics and mixed-media works that narrate themes of ecological vulnerability, racial identity, and diaspora resilience. With international exhibitions, museum collections, and speaking engagements, he functions both as an independent artisan and cultural activist. His work merges environmental awareness with material beauty—a powerful invitation to reflection and community
