Puzzle Huddle
"Puzzles that inspire greatness."
In January 2018, with support from his wife, Marnel, Matthew Goins founded Puzzle Huddle, a Black
Owned Toy Company and Black Owned Puzzle Company dedicated to enriching
children's lives. As parents of three young children, all under the age
of seven, Matthew and Marnel were inspired to start creating puzzles
due to the scarce representation in commercially produced
puzzles
.Initially, Matthew began crafting puzzles at home, using
hand-cut techniques to transform internet-sourced images into physical
puzzles. His efforts evolved into partnering with commercial printers
and artists to produce puzzles that reflect diversity and inclusivity.
Puzzle Huddle has grown since its inception, now offering a variety of products such as wall decorations, t-shirts, pillows, and blankets, all designed with themes of education, achievement, culture, religion, and diversity—values central to their family.
We are proud to be a leading Black Owned Toy Brand that champions
diversity and representation through its innovative products. As a
company committed to empowering children, we stand among the best Black
Owned Toy Companies, specializing in Children’s Gifts that inspire
creativity and self-identity among young minds. Our extensive range
includes not only educational toys but also culturally relevant kids'
clothing, Black History Sweatshirts, Black History Coloring Pages,
blankets, pillows, coloring books, and printable resources, making us a
comprehensive source for all your needs. We take pride in offering Black
History Month Gifts, including inspiring Black History Month
Sweatshirts, to celebrate and uplift our community.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Matthew, alongside Marnel from
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, both met during their graduate studies at
Howard University, a historically black university. As a Black Owned
Puzzle Company, we remain dedicated to creating products that reflect
the beauty and brilliance of diverse children.
Why Puzzles? Puzzles serve as a classic
developmental tool for children, promoting skills such as focus,
problem-solving, discipline, and fine motor coordination.
Types of Puzzles Our black-owned business offers
puzzles in a variety of sizes and configurations, from simple 15-piece
sets to more complex 200-piece challenges. Each design celebrates
elements of diversity, culture, education, and career exploration,
suitable for children ages 3 and up.
Why Ethnically Diverse Images? Ethnically diverse
images are vital for children's development. Engaging with toys that
reflect their own image provides children with affirmation and supports
imaginative play in a meaningful way. Puzzle Huddle is proud to enhance
children's playtime with toys that celebrate and embrace their identity.
