About The Service

At Brown Toy Box

we believe every child deserves to see themselves positively represented in the world of play. We create joyful, educational experiences that center Black children while welcoming all families to explore, discover, and grow through play.

As a purpose-driven toy brand and manufacturer, we design STEAM kits, puzzles, books, and games that reflect diverse cultures, build confidence, and inspire curiosity. Our focus is on making learning fun, accessible, and culturally affirming—because representation matters, and learning should feel like an adventure.

In 2025, we opened the first Brown Toy Box Educational Toy Store in downtown Atlanta at 61 Forsyth Street NW—a bright, playful destination where children and their families can shop our full line of products, engage in hands-on learning, and experience community programming like STEAM Saturdays and in-store events.

From our in-store experience to our growing product line, Brown Toy Box is a space where all kids can have fun learning, and where parents, caregivers, and educators can feel confident knowing they're supporting play with purpose.

We're reimagining the toy aisle—and the classroom—so that every child feels seen, celebrated, and ready to dream big.

Our Mission & Vision

Brown Toy Box Mission and Vision | Culturally Affirming, Future-Ready STEAM Learning

  • Empowering Kids Through Joyful, Culturally Inclusive Play
  • Our Vision: Building Confidence and Future-Ready Skills Through STEAM
  • Why Representation in Toys and Learning Materials Matters
  • Our Mission To cultivate curiosity, build confidence, and inspire joyful learning through inclusive play experiences rooted in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). We are creating a world where children are encouraged, equipped, and empowered to see themselves as creators, innovators, and leaders in the world around them.
  • Our Vision A world where every child—regardless of race, background, or zip code—has access to fun, high-quality educational tools that reflect their identity, affirm their brilliance, and open doors to future-ready possibilities.
  • We believe representation matters. Joy matters. Play matters. And when kids see themselves in the toy box, they can see themselves anywhere.
