Senior Quality Engineer
Arctic Wolf is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer 2 – Endpoint – Aurora to drive quality excellence across cloud‑based security services that power the Aurora Platform. Integrated within the cloud engineering teams in Bengaluru, this senior individual contributor role focuses on building, extending, and maintaining automated test frameworks and environments for microservices, distributed systems, and cloud‑native architectures, ensuring scalable, secure backend systems that meet customer security needs.
This is not a traditional manual QA role; the Senior Quality Engineer operates as a technical partner to developers from day one of feature development, designing test strategies, authoring and reviewing test plans, and identifying additional testing opportunities the team may have missed. Responsibilities include enhancing and extending existing test automation frameworks for cloud services and APIs, creating and managing sophisticated test environments and cloud infrastructure, writing automated tests for microservices and distributed systems, debugging complex integration issues across multi‑service environments, and developing custom testing tools or adapting existing tools to fit team needs.
The role also involves setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing and quality gates, validating REST APIs and integrations across .NET‑based systems using Python automation, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional stakeholders across global time zones with a strong customer‑focused mindset. Candidates are expected to bring 4–8 years of quality engineering experience embedded in development teams, strong Python skills for test automation, familiarity with C#/.NET applications under test, hands‑on AWS infrastructure‑as‑code experience, deep understanding of cloud security and cybersecurity principles, and practical knowledge of modern CI/CD and containerization tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and similar platforms.
Arctic Wolf offers a collaborative and inclusive environment focused on ending cyber risk, with equity for all employees, flexible annual leave and paid holidays, volunteer days, comprehensive private medical insurance for employees and families, life and accident insurance, fertility support, paid parental leave, and access to an Employee Assistance Program for India‑based staff. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, emphasizing diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and corporate responsibility initiatives such as the Pledge 1% movement and the Pack Unity program.
