Arctic Wolf is seeking a Security Engineer/Consultant 2 (Concierge Security Engineer 2) to join its remote Concierge Security Team serving customers across Australia from Western Australia. The CSE2 is a key member of the Concierge Security Team that delivers world‑class Arctic Wolf security services, supporting the technical relationship with assigned customers and leveraging security expertise to help them reduce cyber risk.
In this role, you will create and maintain outstanding partnerships with customers; support the direct delivery of Arctic Wolf network and endpoint security solutions; investigate security events; and configure, troubleshoot, and verify data sources across customer environments. You will action or escalate customer requests for guidance, information, or support in a timely manner, coordinating efforts with other teams as needed; and proactively interact and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to keep customers informed and protected.
The CSE2 role combines aspects of an IT Security Analyst, Security Architect, and Incident Response Consultant, requiring strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate, educate, and share information effectively with non‑technical audiences. You thrive in fast‑paced environments, have a positive can‑do attitude, and are a critical thinker who continually learns and can navigate uncertainty. You enjoy working with customers and in a team, are an excellent communicator, and can easily interact with a variety of personalities and technical skill levels; above all, your passion for cybersecurity and partnering with customers shows in everything you do.
Preferred experience includes 1–5 years in a hands‑on security role with good knowledge of security architecture; a degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent certifications and experience; strong partnering and relationship‑building skills in a professional context; strong written and verbal communication skills; and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Additional skills and experience that are valued include security testing and forensics tools, malware analysis, scripting/coding experience, incident response, authentication and identity management, risk management and common compliance frameworks, and penetration testing/attack simulation.
