

Senior Developer
Arctic Wolf is seeking a Senior Developer 2 – Linux to join its Endpoint Agent team in Bengaluru and deliver Linux endpoint software that solves real‑world security problems for IT professionals. As a senior developer, you will build and enhance the Linux endpoint agent and internal tools used by Arctic Wolf’s security services team to keep customers safe and informed, while mentoring other developers and maintaining a culture of quality and ownership.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include delivering endpoint features that protect customers, writing clear, well‑tested code that meets high quality standards, participating in on‑call rotations, and troubleshooting customer issues in partnership with customer‑facing teams. You will work on complex system‑level issues that require in‑depth evaluation of variable factors, exercise judgment in selecting methods and adapting complex techniques, participate in code and design reviews, and contribute to a culture of sharing through regular R&D demos and an annual department‑wide Hackathon.
You are an experienced software developer capable of performing large engineering projects independently, demonstrating mastery of software development practices and reusable design patterns, and working effectively with a global team of professionals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Core expectations include at least 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity/security, 6+ years of working experience with Linux, proven experience building BPF (BCC or CO‑RE)‑based kernel extensions, a strong understanding of LSM (Linux Security Modules), and experience solving complex system issues with tools such as GDB or LLDB. Additional requirements include building, packaging, and releasing Linux applications and daemons; experience with security analysis, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment; knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP and related security protocols; system‑level programming in C/C++/C#; object‑oriented programming with data structures and algorithms; experience with Python and PyTest; familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure); and experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bazel, Docker, and agile development practices.
